Overview

Dishpad is a web application for saving and organizing recipes, available on any device with a browser. Your recipe data is stored entirely on your device — we do not have access to it. We only collect information that is strictly necessary to process payments and deliver your Pro license.

Information We Collect

Payment information

When you purchase Dishpad Pro, we collect your name and email address. Your card details are processed directly by Stripe and are never seen or stored by us.

Your recipes

All recipe data (titles, ingredients, photos, videos, links) is stored locally on your Mac using your browser's IndexedDB storage. It never leaves your device and we have no access to it.

Usage data

We do not collect analytics, crash reports, or any usage data. Dishpad has no tracking of any kind.

How We Use Your Information

  • To verify your Pro status when you open the app
  • To send you a purchase confirmation email
  • To send product updates or announcements (you can request removal at any time)

Third-Party Services

Stripe

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. Stripe may store your name, email, card details, and billing address in accordance with their Privacy Policy at stripe.com/privacy.

Google (Gmail)

We use Gmail to send transactional emails (purchase confirmations, announcements). Google may process the email address and message content.

Data Retention

We retain your email address and purchase record for as long as your Pro license is active, and for up to 3 years afterward for accounting and fraud prevention purposes. Your recipe data is stored only on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear your browser storage.

Your Rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, email us at:

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), you also have rights under GDPR including the right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Children's Privacy

Dishpad is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify active Pro customers by email. Continued use of Dishpad after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
